Doway House Dedication
What in inspirational and motivational house dedication! Although I was remote and performing my duties as CEO, via phone, for Blue Water Habitat, you could feel the warmth and love 1400 miles away. The house dedication for Gilbert Ernest Doway, (I through that in because Gilbert and I share a name and true friendship), was extremely well attended and a testament to what makes us Habitat. Friends, Family, Volunteers, Donors and Staff gathered to celebrate this new home and the
Glory of GOD and His work. The message was loud and clear, thank you to all of our incredible
donors, volunteers and staff and of course God who brought us all together to build a safe,
affordable home for this deserving man.
We at Habitat are so honored to have been a part of the Doway Family journey and to be witnesses to the kindness and strength of humanity. Gilbert will already be mortgaged and living in his new home by the time you are reading these words. May his home be filled with love, laughter, hope and the eternal presence of GOD.
