Rock the Block 2026

We Rocked it Again!

Did we Rock it or what? We sure did! With the incredible help of over 70 volunteers and staff, Blue Water Habitat for Humanity, very successfully, accomplished Rock the Block 2026 on June 20th. Our wonderful sponsors provided the means to work on 8 homes and the Audrey E. Pack Park in the Division Street neighborhood. Volunteers gathered early with the threat of rain, which was brief, and then cleared for a lovely day to do the work of our mission. Without our sponsors and volunteers this neighborhood and the past 7 neighborhoods we have assisted would never be possible. Their help and commitment to this annual project is so amazing. The energy and the heart of the community coming together to do this for people they have never met is a testament to our work, the residents of the Blue Water Area and God. Every year I am humbled by the genuine kindness and generosity of the volunteers and sponsors. We can always say thank you – and do – but somehow, it doesn’t seem quite enough to show our gratitude. I do believe though if you were to ask any volunteer or sponsor what they feel for participating, there answer would be…. I wasn’t expecting anything in return for my effort, but what I left with was a sense of pride, accomplishment, and a heart that was so filled with God’s love that I was the one that truly received the gift of kindness. Again, blessings to all who provided and helped with Rock the Block 2026, as always, you Rocked it
